Hi Melissa we live in St Petersburg.. we are married my husband is community spouse me the wife has been on Medicaid for years and I am also disabled..and my husband takes care of me at home LTC home-based Medicaid.. if I receive some money through inheritance or something similar and pushes my husband over the 137,000.. uncountable assets.. since the financial snapshot is already done can I transfer some money to my husband’s checking account or investment account and have his assets exceed 137,000 in the event we receive inheritance.. my husband’s assets have always been separate I retain 1500 at a checking account. So essentially if I received the inheritance can I just move that money over to my community spouse within that month… I super appreciate it thank you so much.. and my name is Becky
I’m sorry there was a typo.. I typed uncountable assets I meant to type in countable assets..sorry.
